SCHOLARLY / BIBLIOGRAPHICAL

This page is very much "in development" while I marshal a readable guide to the labyrinth of  sources, archives and books covering China and its surrounds from the late 19th century - something accessible to the relentless.

Meantime, two items to keep it warm:

1) BOOKS

"My Quest to Fly"is a new book by ex-pilot Sebie Biggs Smith who "flew for China" in its darkest hours of defensive war against Japan. Highly recommended. For more details, see commentary HERE.

2) Bookshops

CHINA BOOKS is Australia's most distinguished bookstore specialising in all matters Chinese, from health to history, martial arts to high arts, various language materials, videos & audio and literature ancient & modern - in Chinese or English. Headquartered in Melbourne, China Books has shops elsewhere and for a better description of their wares, see www.chinabooks.com.au or send an email to info@chinabooks.com.au .
